The Chambers of Alan Melvin-Farr is a new and exciting set formed in 2009 and based in Central London. The Chambers will focus on delivering highly responsive, quality advice to clients on a worldwide basis. Chambers aims not just to accommodate clients' needs at short notice, but to exceed their expectations.

The Chambers specialises in: Admiralty, Banking and Financial Services, Bills of Lading Disputes, Carriage of Goods, Commodities, Insurance and Re-Insurance, International Trade law, Shipping and Public and Administrative law.

The Chambers of Alan Melvin-Farr was formed by Alan Melvin-Farr. After a successful career including broad commercial and business development experience, Alan Melvin-Farr Called at the Scottish Bar in 2002 and quickly developed a large Public and Administrative law practice. He later Called at the Bar of England and Wales.

Ros Clarke – Chambers Director

Ros Clarke is the Chambers Director. She was the Chief Executive of a major management consultancy before joining the Chambers of Alan Melvin-Farr. Ros Clarke is a highly skilled and experienced manager with the ability to communicate at all levels within organisations. She has worked at a strategic level with the boards of many public sector organisations.

Since 2002 Ros has worked with the Security Industry Authority (SIA) Citibank, Department for Justice, Greater London Magistrates Court Authority, Crown Prosecution Service, The Appeals Service, Lancashire Magistrate’s Court Authority, The Pensions Regulator, The Home Office, Northumbria and Strathclyde Police Services.

She now brings considerable experience and management skills to The Chambers of Alan Melvin-Farr.
