The Chambers of Alan Melvin-Farr was formed in 2009. The Chambers provides advice in the following areas of law, Shipping, Insurance, Re-Insurance, Asset Recovery and Confication and Civil Recovery. Money Laundering and Proceeds of Crime International Trade, Commodities.

Following a highly successful commercial business career, Alan Melvin-Farr was called to the Scots Bar in 2002. He has developed a large Public Law practice specialising in Immigration, Mental Health and Prison Law. Previously Scottish Editor of Prison Law Reports, he has also worked in Criminal Law and has acted as junior counsel in one of Scotland’s largest drug trials. In 2006 he joined the Bar of England and Wales and in 2009 established his own Chambers.
